The Health Department offers free car seat checks. A Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician provides education on how to properly install a child's car seat to reduce the chance of serious injury or death if involved in a car accident. Car seats may be available for income eligible families that reside in the Cities of South Milwaukee or St. Francis. Please call us to see if you qualify.
